Description: We’re looking for a badass, hard-hitting graphic designer to create a thumbnail template for our podcast, Beyond the Dispatch. Think Netflix documentary meets Shawn Ryan Show—raw, emotional, cinematic. Our show dives deep into the mental health journeys of first responders, veterans, and others who’ve served on the front lines. It’s heavy, powerful, and honest—and our visuals need to match that energy. What We Need: A thumbnail template that can be reused for every guest (so we can swap faces, names, and episode titles) Inspired by Shawn Ryan’s recent thumbnails: bold type, gritty tones, intense lighting, dramatic composition Must feel like a Netflix doc series cover – polished, cinematic, emotional Must include editable elements (preferably delivered as a PSD or layered file) Dimensions: Optimized for YouTube (1280x720) and also look strong on podcast apps / social media Typography that makes a statement – strong, clean, but with emotional weight We have official show logos ready to be integrated Ideal Designer: Has experience with YouTube thumbnails, especially in the podcast / documentary / true crime space Understands visual storytelling and can capture tone and intensity in a single image Can take direction, but isn’t afraid to bring bold creative ideas to the table Bonus if you’ve worked with creators in the veteran / LEO / first responder space Deliverables: Final layered template file (Photoshop preferred) A few demo mockups using our current episodes/guest photos to show how it’ll look Font files or font names used Optional: export settings or presets for consistent future use
