Role Overview We are seeking a Full Stack Developer (Geospatial Solutions) with 5-8 years of experience to design, develop, and automate geospatial applications. The ideal candidate is skilled in frontend and backend development, geospatial data processing, and cloud infrastructure and is passionate about climate tech and geospatial analytics. Key Responsibilities Frontend Development (React & Geospatial UI) 1. Develop interactive dashboards for visualizing geospatial data (carbon stocks, biodiversity maps, climate risk). 2. Implement map-based visualizations using Leaflet, Mapbox, or OpenLayers. 3. Build reusable UI components with React + TypeScript. Backend & API Development 1. Develop Python (Django/Flask) or Node.js APIs to process geospatial and environmental data. 2. Integrate APIs with PostGIS/PostgreSQL databases for satellite imagery, IoT sensor data, and LiDAR datasets. 3. Implement OAuth2, JWT authentication, and GDPR-compliant security measures. Geospatial & AI Integration 1. Integrate ML models (e.g., carbon sequestration forecasting) into backend APIs. 2. Optimize large-scale geospatial workflows for environmental analytics. DevOps, Cloud & Security 1. Deploy applications using Docker & Kubernetes. 2. Automate CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions/Jenkins. 3. Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS (S3, Lambda, EC2, RDS) or GCP. 4. Implement data encryption, backup strategies, and security protocols. Who We’re Looking For Must-Have Skills 1. Full Stack Experience (2-3 years): Python (Django/Flask) or Node.js, React, TypeScript 2. Geospatial Expertise: PostGIS, GeoPandas, Leaflet/Mapbox/OpenLayers 3. Cloud & Database Knowledge: AWS (S3, Lambda, RDS) or GCP, PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB 4. API Development: RESTful API design, OAuth2, JWT authentication 5. Version Control & DevOps: Git, GitHub workflows Nice-to-Have Skills 1. AI/ML Integration: Familiarity with TensorFlow/PyTorch for environmental modeling 2.
