We are a dynamic and growing digital media company focused on delivering high-quality content to our audience. We are seeking a skilled Ad Operations & Monetization Specialist to join our team and help us maximize revenue through direct sponsorship ad sales and programmatic monetization of our blog content. Responsibilities: Ad Operations Management: Set up, manage, and optimize ad campaigns using Google Ad Manager and FreeWheel. Monitor ad performance and make data-driven decisions to improve ad revenue. Troubleshoot and resolve any ad delivery issues. Direct Sponsorship Ad Sales: Identify and reach out to potential sponsors for direct ad sales opportunities. Develop and present compelling sponsorship packages to prospective clients. Negotiate and close sponsorship deals to achieve revenue targets. Programmatic Monetization: Implement and manage programmatic ad strategies to maximize revenue. Optimize ad placements and formats to enhance user experience and engagement. Collaborate with the content team to ensure seamless integration of ads. Yield Management: Optimize Ad Inventory: Make small optimizations to ad monetization setup to maximize revenue. Price Flooring: Manage individual price floors to balance fill rate and RPMs, driving the highest total ad revenue. Header Bidding Optimization: Manage settings across demand sources participating in header bidding auctions. Real-Time Data Analysis: Leverage real-time data and analytics to make informed decisions and adjustments. Ad Placement Strategies: Plan and optimize ad placements to maximize user experience and revenue. Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports on ad performance and revenue metrics. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in ad operations and monetization. Requirements: Proven experience in ad operations and monetization, preferably with Google Ad Manager and FreeWheel. Strong understanding of programmatic advertising, direct sponsorship ad sales, and yield management. Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decisions. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with digital media and content monetization strategies.
