Executive Assistant to Hamptons Renovation/Airbnb Host/Content Creator - @via_norfolk

$15.00
Hourly: $15.00 - $30.00

Looking for a detail-oriented, precise, and energetic virtual / marketing assistant to help manage my growing business. The perfect "unicorn" assistant would be someone who loves or wants to learn about home design and/or renovation and/or owning Airbnbs! You should live in New York, New Jersey, or Connecticut, with the expectation of traveling to the Hamptons every couple of months (where my business is based!) Ideal Experience/Qualification: - 1-3 years as a virtual or exec assistant - Proactive, detail-oriented task management like travel, expenses, calendar management, or similar - Social media and digital marketing platforms including- Instagram, Pinterest, Squarespace, TikTok, Canva - Affiliate marketing platforms: LTK, Amazon Storefront, experience selling/generating links or comprehension through shopping on these - Blog, email, or website copywriting - "Design" eye -- able to create simple, beautiful graphic designs in Canva or as storyboards for use in Instagram or on LTK More details: My name is Blythe and I buy, renovate, and design houses in the Hamptons, and then either sell or hold on to them to rent as Airbnbs. Additionally, I work as an Instagram creator, sharing my projects and the journey (my handle is @via_norfolk on Instagram). Finally, I am also hired as a consultant to help clients with their projects. Business has been booming, and I'm about to hit 10k followers on Instagram. I'm looking for my new righthand person to come join me in taking the business to the next level across a variety of revenue streams. Your specific role could be tailored or focused to your specific interests/skills over time, but there will be some administrative tasks required for anyone. This will include helping me to offload some of the ongoing Airbnb management for my 3+ properties that I manage myself as an Airbnb host. I would love to find someone looking for part-time for now, but might interested in growing into full-time or longer-term position. Located in New York, Connecticut or New Jersey is preferred but this is flexible. Generally, you will need to be able to access the Hamptons every few months, at a reasonable travel cost (driveable or train from Penn station, etc.) I live in Connecticut with my husband and our 3 kids, but personally go out to East Hampton (where the majority of our properties are located) about once a week. We also spend several weeks there over the summer. Job expectations: - Weekly or bi-weekly virtual status meetings with Blythe to align on overall priorities - Calendar management of Stan Store consulting offers, and individual landing pages when required for promos, etc - Airbnb co-hosting: messaging with guests, calendar management, coordination with local property managers, cleaners, pool company, and other services. Blythe is able to train you on this, after visiting properties in-person. - Updates/management of the vianorfolk.com website on Square Space - Following @via_norfolk on Instagram and understanding current reno projects, house activities, stories, etc, by staying up to date on Instagram stories every 24 hours. - Creating assets in Canva for Instagram for Blythe to review/post (eg Reel covers, text overlays in images for Carousels) - sometimes needed within ~12 hour turnarounds - Expense reporting for ongoing expenses related to home renovation and design projects - Creating Pinterest posts, by repurposing photos/Instagram content - drafting in spreadsheet to start for review with Blythe in weekly status, then takeover management and posting of this channel. Ditto for TikTok, eventually. - Generating LTK product lists from products Blythe is purchasing for clients and/or homes she's renovating, and then creating boards to post in LTK for review. - TBD/eventually: creating new Instagram accounts for the various Airbnbs and managing those Instagrams (note: not expecting this person to take over the @via_norfolk Instagram -- Blythe will continue to manage this herself) - TBD/eventually: email creation for ongoing email series, or creation/copywriting of downloadable guides (for candidates with copywriting experiences) Note on working time: This person should be US-based, and generally flexible in terms of responsiveness and when they're available for very quick questions. The expectation is not that they should work early mornings, late nights, or weekends. However, ideally they're responsive/available for quick questions within a couple hours, and not offline for a complete weekend, every weekend. General working hours (M-F, 9am - 6pm) for any real working time is fine, but we're also flexible if a different working schedule is preferred!
