Issue #1: I have a Film & TV Post Production Studio with a 100TB Dell server running Microsoft Windows Server connected to 6 video editing computers, 3 Windows based machines and 3 Mac based machines. The issue is my server used to run at much faster read and write speeds. They have slowed down. Especially the read speed, the read speed is half the speed of the write speed. Which is strange because usually it is the other way around. All the computers are connected to the server via 10GB ethernet CAT 6 cable. When I run a health test all the hard drives in the server are coming back in good condition. I’m also not getting any other errors of hardware or software issues. Running tests, everything comes back fine, however they are not fine. The speeds are slower. I’ve also changed out the RAID Controller thinking it was failing, however still running slow. I’ve tried new ethernet cables and transceivers and still same result… Slow. Issue #2: My MICROTIK Cloud Switcher Series (switcher/router) will no longer work with my Ubiquiti wifi router. It used to work perfectly, then I just replaced my MICROTIK with the exact same make and model and now the Ubiquiti wifi router will no longer work with it. We have tried to reconfigure it and still does not work.
