About Portal Portal is a B2B SaaS platform serving professional installers (think 'AV guy' or “Security Contractor”). We take a design-first approach, focusing on reducing the friction of running a professional installation company. The most popular part of Portal is our Proposal tool - Installers use Portal to create proposals for their clients (end users) and win jobs. Position We’re seeking a mid-level Graphic Designer to create polished, user-facing designs for our SaaS platform, ensuring a visually consistent and intuitive experience for integrators. You’ll work closely with our Senior UX Designer, Product Managers, and development team to execute high-fidelity designs in Figma, maintain our component library, as well as create and support marketing assets. This role is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented designer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Responsibilities include: - Design High-Fidelity UI: Create polished Figma designs for Portal’s features (e.g., catalog search, proposal builder) based on wireframes from the Senior UX Designer, ensuring responsiveness for desktop and tablet. - Maintain Design System: Update and document our Figma component library to ensure consistency across the platform (e.g., buttons, filters, cards). - Collaborate with Team: Work with Product Managers to align designs with feature requirements (e.g., “Search UI must prioritize dealer workflows”) and developers to ensure dev-ready handoffs during sprints. - Support Marketing Assets: Design occasional marketing materials (e.g., website graphics, emails). - Iterate Based on Feedback: Refine designs based on input from Product Managers, user testing results, and developer feasibility checks. Qualifications - 2–4 years of graphic design experience, ideally for SaaS or B2B software platforms. - Expert in Figma, with experience using and maintaining component libraries. - Strong portfolio showcasing clean, modern UI designs and responsive layouts. - Basic understanding of UX principles (e.g., wireframing, prototyping) to collaborate effectively with the Senior UX Designer. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, delivering designs on tight sprint schedules (1-2 week cycles). - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with PMs, devs, and scrum master.
