Job Description: Fractional Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Position Overview We are seeking an experienced marketing leader to join our team as a Fractional Chief Marketing Officer. In this role, you will provide high-level strategic marketing leadership on a part-time basis, helping to drive growth, enhance brand presence, and optimize marketing effectiveness while working closely with our executive team. About the Role As a Fractional CMO, you will serve as our company's senior marketing strategist without the full-time commitment of a traditional CMO. You'll bring sophisticated marketing expertise to our organization, implementing best practices and building marketing capabilities that drive sustainable results. Hours & Commitment This position requires approximately 10-20 hours per week, with flexibility in scheduling. The initial contract is for 6 months with the possibility of extension based on mutual agreement and performance. Key Responsibilities - Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business objectives - Provide leadership and mentorship to the existing marketing team - Create and optimize the marketing budget to ensure maximum ROI - Establish and track key performance metrics for all marketing initiatives - Enhance brand positioning and messaging across all platforms - Identify and evaluate new market opportunities and customer segments - Oversee digital marketing strategies including SEO, SEM, content marketing, and social media - Analyze competitive landscape and identify strategic advantages - Implement marketing automation and CRM strategies to improve lead generation and conversion - Collaborate with sales leadership to create alignment between marketing and sales functions - Provide regular reporting and insights to the executive team and board Qualifications - 10+ years of progressive marketing experience - Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies that drive business growth - Experience working with companies in our industry or related sectors (preferred) - Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and technologies - Excellent analytical skills with experience in marketing analytics and ROI measurement - Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into marketing initiatives - Experience building and leading high-performing marketing teams - Outstanding communication and presentation skills - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred Ideal Candidate Profile - Independent self-starter who can quickly understand our business model and challenges - Adaptable professional comfortable working with limited resources and competing priorities - Results-oriented leader focused on driving measurable outcomes - Collaborative team player who can integrate effectively with our existing team - Experienced in both B2B and B2C marketing environments - Proven ability to operate strategically while also executing tactically when needed Application Process Please submit a brief cover letter explaining your interest in a fractional role, and 2-3 examples of marketing strategies you've successfully implemented that directly impacted business growth.
