About: BroughtBy connects food and beverage brands to real people, in real communities. Through events, activations, and demos in local communities, we help brands build authentic relationships with customers, anywhere. Job Description: BroughtBy is looking for brand ambassadors that can help with on-the-ground efforts in Chicago. You will collaborate with BroughtBy’s CEO/Founder and our brand partners to execute on-the-ground events such as samplings at breweries, office buildings, concert/ comedy venues, bagel/sandwich shops, outdoor events throughout the summer, hospitals, and more. This is a very fun opportunity to meet people in Chicago, network in the food and bev industry, and connect with community leaders. We’re looking for applicants that are organized, confident, friendly, creative, and are self-starters. Experience with event-management, working with food and beverage, and a deep knowledge of Chicago is a plus. Responsibilities: Staffing food and beverage events (samplings, tastings, parties, etc.) Creating a warm environment at events, encouraging folks to try things and purchase, helping with set-up and tear-down 2-10 events per month For April and May we’re prioritizing people with M-F daytime availability for lunch events Later in spring/ summer we’ll layer in more weeknight and weekend If you’re at all interested, just apply now so we get you in our system! Expected start date: April 2025, commitment is month-to-month and flexible as needed, can do with a full-time job, other part-time work, or as a student Pay: $15- $25/hour depending on level of experience If you have extensive experience with field marketing, people management or event management, we can discuss a “Site Manager” role which would be a stipend rather than an hourly rate, overseeing brand ambassadors This role could be a great fit for anyone who is: Generally interested in marketing, advertising, food, beverage, event management, tourism Teachers or community builders who love community-driven events Students, working artists, or entrepreneurially-minded folks looking to gain work experience Anyone who considers themself a “people person” interested in additional income
