Freelance Healthcare Copywriter – Executive Voice, Strategic Content, Trusted Brand


Job Overview: Our company is seeking an experienced freelance copywriter with a deep understanding of healthcare industry dynamics to support our marketing team in creating strategic, executive-facing content. The ideal candidate can write in a professional, peer-to-peer tone that speaks directly to health system executives (e.g., CEOs, CMOs, CGOs) and industry leaders—avoiding any commercial or sales-y feel. This is an ongoing project-to-project freelance engagement with opportunities for consistent work across email campaigns, SEO-optimized articles, blog articles, thought leadership assets, and landing pages. What You'll Be Writing: • Executive email campaigns (no mass marketing tone—think concise, human, aspirational) • Healthcare blog posts designed for C-suite audiences (SEO knowledge a plus) • Press releases featuring priority programs, partnerships, and webinars • Member benefit narratives and short form landing page copy • LinkedIn content (not duplicate blog content; original pieces) The scope is ongoing as we need content produced each month of the year. Ideal Background: Prior experience writing in the healthcare space, ideally with knowledge of health systems and CXO dynamics. Ability to distill complex market intelligence into compelling, short messaging and articles. Familiar with persona-based messaging and the difference in tone between different executive-level personas. What We’re Looking For: You write with clarity, confidence, and strategic empathy, always peer-level. You can embody our brand voice while tailoring copy for different personas. You have examples of past work that demonstrate your ability to write in the healthcare space.
