We are hiring a B2B telemarketer to help us sell small advertising spaces on our large, oversized monthly postcard. We just need you to find the decision maker and get them interested, and we can handle closing the deal. We have a super simple, no brainer pitch for the decision maker. And the best part, you get to honestly tell them you are NOT selling them anything, but simply SHARING space with local business owners like us to reduce the marketing cost by 90-98% compared to doing it ourselves. It’s like a ‘co-op’, where a small group of businesses SHARE the cost of the advertising piece. Also, there is NO competitors allowed on the postcard. The first business to sign up in any given category get the EXCLUSIVE. This means all of their competitors will be locked out for as long as they remain in our ‘co-op’. Imagine how mailing to 10,000 local residents a month can make an impact on small businesses. The marketing piece is a huge, 9 X 12 inch, 2-sided, full color postcard in which any business can choose whatever size ad they want. Our goal is to mail the postcard to 10K residences in the local community area where the businesses are located. The cost per ad space starts at only $200 (affordable to virtually any business), and up to $1,000 for the postcard that will be sent to 10,000 residences. If a business tried to mail this same postcard for only their business, it would cost them up to $10,000. But sharing space, all of the businesses can pay a tiny fraction of the cost, and get their ad seen by 10,000+ people per month! Each area we launch a new monthly postcard typically sells out in 2 weeks. After we close out each monthly postcard, it takes about 3-4 weeks to get the designs completed, card printed, and mailed out. Your responsibility is: • Contact business owners/decision makers in a defined area to give them your pitch. We provide the contact list for you and train you on the pitch. • For interested prospects, explain that one of the owners of our company will send them more information with an opportunity for a phone call, or to come by and meet in person. • Once an area is sold out (est. 2-3 weeks), you will begin on a new area. • Also, you may be asked to call on a previous area that was already sold out, but that where businesses have canceled their ad. Example, there may have been 15 businesses on the postcard, but 5 did not renew. That means you would need for fill those 5 spots in that area, then go back to opening up the new area. For top producers, there are several opportunities for advancement via stepping into a full sales role, or managing other telemarketers, and area managers too. And again, you are not really ‘selling’ anything. You are calling up local businesses as one of their local business peers, and offering them the OPPORTUNITY to elevate their business through consistent, high volume (10,000/mo) postcard ads to help make them the most notable business in their category in their community. And you’re not offering a SALE, but simply the OPPORTUNITY to grab an exclusive spot on our card where we all SHARE the cost and paying 90-98% less than compared to doing it ourselves.
