Acero Schools is seeking a Strategic Planning Consultant to support the development and execution of a multi-stakeholder strategic planning process. This consultant will play a key role in gathering meaningful insights from staff, students, families, and community members to inform the organization’s future direction. Contract Type: Project-based / Part-time Duration: May 2025 - December 2025, Estimated 20 hours/week Work Arrangement: Hybrid (some in-person meetings required in Chicago) Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement surveys and feedback instruments for various stakeholder groups Conduct interviews and focus groups with staff, students, families, and key community partners Ensure broad and inclusive stakeholder engagement throughout the strategic planning process Collect, synthesize, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data Present key findings and actionable recommendations to senior leadership Collaborate with internal teams to align findings with organizational goals and priorities Qualifications: Proven experience in strategic planning, program evaluation, or organizational development Strong background in stakeholder engagement and participatory research methods Excellent analytical, writing, and presentation skills Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Forms, Slides, etc.) Familiarity with Monday.com or similar project management platforms is a plus Experience working in education or non-profit sectors is preferred
