Capital Strategist + Financial Modeler to Guide Acquisition Funding Stack We’re looking for a strategic financial partner to help us design the most effective capital stack for a roll-up of undervalued businesses. We are acquiring commoditized companies at 1-2x earnings and transforming them into scalable, tech-driven revenue streams valued at 10x +. This is not just a financial modeling gig, we need someone who can think across capital markets, understand different debt and equity vehicles, and help steer us toward the optimal blend of financing for each deal and the broader strategy. Key Objectives: - Help us navigate the full capital landscape: SBA lending, private credit, seller financing, equity rounds, mezzanine debt, and hybrid structures - Guide us on which structures align with our goals (low equity dilution, bankability, repeatability, cost control, timeline) - Build a modular financial model that can showcase various capital stacks, down payments, earn-outs, and post-acquisition returns - Advise on how to frame and pitch the opportunity to banks, investors, or lenders - Advise on how to position and present the financial strategy to banks, investors, and lending partners - Be available for strategic calls to help us navigate conversations with lenders, investors, or other capital providers Ideal Profile: - Deep experience in capital structuring, buy-side finance, private equity, or strategic CFO advisory - Has worked across multiple funding mechanisms, including SBA 7(a), RBF, seller notes, private debt, and venture/private equity - Understands how to tell the story in the numbers, and how to make those numbers work for different audiences - Can move fast, collaborate efficiently, and help us build a repeatable funding playbook Engagement Details: - Short project upfront (~5–10 hours) to guide and model our first acquisition - May expand into a fractional or advisory relationship depending on fit and growth as we start diligence on each deal - Flexible on timing, but we’re actively exploring our first transaction now
