We're a bootstrapped company that brings in just about $10K/month. I'd like to have a monthly call with a fractional CFO and then have them help with ad-hoc projects as they arise. Some topics/things on my mind that could be covered by this person include: Projections - Spruce up projections - Show how $XK investment gets us to $XM in revenue; milestones we can reach per some amount in investment; we have a basic projection now that could be enhanced with more formulas/assumptions Budgeting - This is probably our #1 thing to discuss; Would love to discuss any immediate changes I need to make to keep us afloat, be sure I consider/include upcoming tax estimations & build up our savings - Budget-to-actuals analysis Funnel Analysis -Based on the # leads we bring in, % conversion, pricing, retention, we have been plateauing - figuring out what do we need to do to grow? Light analysis on which sources are most effective in driving sales and/or discussion around which salespeople are best converting Ad Hoc Questions - Understanding our margin - Analyzing which plan is most popular - Retention per plan - Help inform ways to cleanup QBO if you see inaccuracies / inefficiencies in how things are being tracked This would be approx 1-2 hours/month of light analysis prior to our calls + a 1 hour/month strategic conversation to diagnose what's going on + what to do next to adjust & grow.
