Supply Chain Analyst - Private Equity Due Diligence Location: Remote Type: Contract, Part-Time Start Date: Immediate Project Overview: Our client is evaluating an acquisition target under LOI — a family-owned distributor and light manufacturer of specialty medical supplies, selling primarily to hospitals and acute care facilities. With a diverse supplier base (600), a high SKU count, and limited exposure to Chinese sourcing (10%), we are seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to provide independent risk assessment and support during due diligence and potentially post-acquisition. Role Summary: The Contract Supply Chain Analyst will augment the internal diligence team by conducting a comprehensive tariff and supply chain risk analysis. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in healthcare supply chains, with strong analytical capabilities and comfort working with complex SKU and supplier data. Key Responsibilities: • Collect, organize, and monitor up-to-date tariff and trade data impacting healthcare products, especially in the U.S. • Analyze the acquisition target’s SKU-level data to determine country of origin and applicable tariffs • Develop a comprehensive risk assessment report highlighting: Current and potential tariff exposure, Country of origin dependencies, COGS impact under various scenarios • Evaluate international supply chain dependencies, including second-tier supplier vulnerabilities • Work closely with the internal diligence team to inform investment decisions • Potential to support post-close integration and ongoing supply chain risk monitoring Ideal Candidate Profile: • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or sourcing, preferably in healthcare/medical devices or regulated industries • Strong analytical skills; comfort working with large datasets and drawing actionable insights • Familiarity with tariff structures, trade compliance, and global sourcing risks • Demonstrated experience with due diligence or consulting engagements is a plus • Excellent communication and reporting skills — must be able to translate complex supply chain data into clear business implications • Self-starter comfortable working independently and in fast-paced deal environments
