Scope of Work (SOW) – Bookkeeper for One-Month Reconciliation in QuickBooks Project Title: One-Month Bookkeeping and Account Reconciliation in QuickBooks Project Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented bookkeeper to reconcile and update our company’s financial records for one month of transactions. The goal is to bring our books current and ensure they are accurately reflected in QuickBooks (Online or Desktop – please specify). Objectives: Review and reconcile one month of bank and/or credit card transactions. Accurately enter any missing transactions into QuickBooks. Categorize transactions correctly based on our chart of accounts. Identify and flag any discrepancies or issues. Provide a summary report upon completion of reconciliation. Deliverables: Fully reconciled bank and/or credit card accounts for the specified month All transactions accurately entered and categorized in QuickBooks A reconciliation report or summary showing completed work and any concerns or recommendations Brief consultation (optional, up to 30 minutes) to review findings and clarify questions Requirements: Proven experience with QuickBooks (Online or Desktop) Prior bookkeeping or accounting experience High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to complete work in a timely manner Excellent communication skills Timeline: Project to begin upon contract award Completion expected within 2 days of project start Tools Provided: Access to QuickBooks account Bank/credit card statements for the month in question Chart of accounts or prior bookkeeping structure (if applicable) Budget: Open to fixed-price or hourly proposals.
