Internal recruiter for physical therapy clinic

$31.00
Hourly: $31.00 - $55.00

At Anderson Sport and Wellness, we recognize that people are the most critical component of our success. We are looking to add a contract full-cycle recruiter with an exceptional eye for talent to our team on a part-time basis 10-15 hours a week. If it excites you to help scale a company by impacting the early-in-career hiring, this job is for you. We particularly value hiring emerging talent and developing them to become leaders and experts in their career path. To this end we hire 3 new interns every 12 weeks for our pre-medical/pre-physical therapy internship so we are constantly recruiting for this. These interns must be very high level individuals who score high for intelligence, EQ, and compassion/empathy and be in the top 5% of their class. Our interview process for them includes an assessment emailed to them after passing a brief screen with the recruiter, if they pass this assessment, it includes teaching an exercise to the recruiter, and after they pass that test, they are assessed in the clinic interview (done by our staff) with 4 assessments which address detail orientation and ability to follow directions. Only one in 4 applicants that our current recruiter is sending to us after passing the exercise test pass this assessment. Our experience is that those who pass the assessment in our clinic do well in the internship so it is a good way to select appropriate talent. We are considering reworking our process with a better pre-employment screen that aligns more closely to our pre-employment assessment in the clinic. We may also consider putting the screening process for detail orientation and following directions as an automatic email through JazzHR (our ATS) to every applicant as a screen so the recruiter only looks at resumes of those who passed this assessment, and additionally may do reach outs to interesting resumes of those who didn't do the screen and ask them to do the screen. Interested in pre-employment screening tools that would help with this. In addition we are regularly recruiting for specialist physical therapists and office support staff. You will own the full recruiting cycle for various roles within our company. Your role will ensure that hiring goals are met and directly contribute to our growth by identifying and attracting top-tier candidates. Additionally, you will be able to contribute to process improvements, employer branding initiatives, and other recruitment-related projects that drive Anderson Sport and Wellness's success in attracting and retaining top talent. A little more about our process and what we are looking for: From the owner: I expect the job to take 10 hours a week once someone knows our system. We use JazzHR. I have it pretty dialed as far as a system and sourcing. Initially it may take 15 hours a week for someone to be up to speed in how we do things. I'm open to making modifications to our system, however, we have a system that is pretty efficient. We are looking to hire a physical therapist in 6 months, three interns ASAP and an assistant office manager. I would like a 3-6 month commitment. I am not interested in working with an agency. Just want to pay someone hourly to implement our process and improve it if they have ideas for that. What you’ll do: Manage the recruiting process end-to-end for a variety of roles and functions using JazzHR software. Manage pipeline activity, maintain data integrity, and proactively share data-driven updates with the owner of the company. Establish yourself as a strategic partner to the business with the ability to advise and execute our talent strategy. Provide an unmatched candidate experience that is fair, transparent, and timely. What you'll need: Minimum of 1 year of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally having spent time in a startup or high-growth environment. Proven success and passion for building exceptional teams, not just filling seats. Expertise in recruiting for a specific business group, plus the flexibility to take on and quickly calibrate to new searches. Ability to organize around competing priorities and navigate frequent context changes. Excellent communication with the ability to quickly build trust and rapport. Ability to effectively communicate to candidates the opportunities and benefits of each role we are looking to fill and stir up excitement about joining our team. Intellectually curious, strong work ethic, great teammate, and high integrity. Nice to Haves: Demonstrated knowledge of high-volume hiring, e.g., Sales, Emerging Talent, and Customer Experience Experience with our suite of recruiting tools and software (JazzHR, LinkedIn, Microsoft Office)
