Event Photographer Needed – Cookout (Houston-Based Only)

We’re looking for a talented Houston-based photographer to capture the energy, community, and culture of our upcoming event: Cookout, taking place at MacGregor Park on Thursday, May 29, 2025, from 2 PM to 6 PM CST. This is a vibrant, outdoor event focused on creativity, content, and community giving, with food, music, live interactions, and pop-up stations. We are also raising funds and awareness for The Beacon, a nonprofit supporting the local homeless population. ⸻ Scope of Work: • Capture candid moments, portraits, group photos, food, decor, and brand activations • Take at least 150–200 edited high-res photos • Deliver photos within 5 business days post-event (Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.) • Arrive no later than 1:00PM for setup • Be comfortable shooting in natural light and outdoor environments ⸻ Ideal Candidate: • Based in Houston or nearby • Portfolio of lifestyle/event photography • Comfortable shooting candid + posed shots • Professional, punctual, and good with crowds • Bonus: Experience photographing community or creator events ⸻ What We Provide: • Meal + refreshments • Social media credit on all platforms • Access to promote your work in post-event recap • Opportunity for long-term collaboration ⸻ Budget: $200–$300 (negotiable based on experience) ⸻ To Apply: Please include: 1.
