We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Consultant to assist our organization in expanding our reach as a certified diversity supplier. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, supplier diversity initiatives, and corporate outreach. Call leads, build rapport, and book appointments with decision-makers. That’s it. No selling. We do all the selling. Responsibilities: • Identify and reach out to potential corporate clients, government agencies, and prime contractors interested in working with certified diversity suppliers. • Develop strategic outreach and engagement plans. • Schedule and coordinate introductory calls or virtual meetings. • Provide regular progress updates and lead status reports. • Consult on supplier registration portals and help with vendor registration process if needed. Requirements: • Proven experience in business development or supplier diversity consulting. • Must have your own telephone service to conduct outreach. • Must provide your own qualified lead list or database of potential business connections. • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. • Knowledge of diversity certification programs (WBENC, NMSDC, etc.) is a plus. Compensation: • Fixed rate: $1,000 upon completion of deliverables (to be outlined during onboarding). • Potential for ongoing work based on performance and results.
