I’m looking for a fractional finance professional with deep experience in marketing finance—specifically in performance marketing, pay-per-lead (PPL), and ad spend profitability tracking. The main objective of this role is to give me a clear picture of our finances, including upcoming payments owed, true available cash flow, and budgeting. What You’ll Do: - Audit our financials to identify risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities. - Track ad spend profitability across Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and other marketing channels. - Monitor financials in QuickBooks, ensuring expenses and revenue are properly categorized. - Provide weekly cash flow reporting, helping track real-time cash position and trends, including: - True available cash after factoring in upcoming payments. - A breakdown of what revenue is actually spendable vs. already allocated. - Budgeting for payments owed in future months. - Identify and flag financial concerns early, providing top-level insights on potential risks or opportunities. - Ensure financial clarity on revenue vs. expenses—for example, if $100K in revenue comes in but $50K is owed next month, I want to clearly see that only $50K is available. - Work proactively, providing insights and weekly updates via Slack. What You Need to Succeed: - Strong understanding of marketing finance—you should know marketing terms and how agencies operate. - Experience in performance marketing, PPL, or affiliate marketing finance. - Proven ability to analyze ad spend vs. revenue and track net profit on ad spend. - Proficiency in QuickBooks with experience handling financials for a marketing company. - Ability to work independently, flagging issues or opportunities I need to know about. - U.S.-based, preferably Eastern Time Zone, for easier communication.
