We’re developing a browser-based tool that delivers real-time recommendations in a sports context. We’re looking for a backend developer to connect a Chrome extension frontend with a machine learning model hosted on Azure. The backend will handle event intake from the extension, manage session state, and facilitate data exchange with the model endpoint. We’re looking for someone with experience in: • Azure Functions (serverless architecture) • Cosmos DB • API design (auth, REST/JSON, token security) • Calling external ML endpoints and returning structured results • Writing clean, testable code with solid error handling Bonus if you’ve worked with: • Browser extension integrations • Fantasy or sports data projects • Azure DevOps or CI pipelines This is a focused 6–8 week build. You’ll collaborate with a frontend extension developer and our machine learning lead to move quickly toward a working MVP. We’re looking for someone who can work independently, communicate clearly, and execute with speed and precision.
