We are seeking a talented and experienced Director of Photography (DP) to collaborate with us on approximately four video production projects per year. These shoots will take place on location in the Las Vegas, Nevada area. We are looking for a creative individual with a strong visual eye and the technical expertise to bring our projects to life. Responsibilities: Collaborate with the client, exec producer and producer to understand the creative vision and objectives for each shoot. Develop and execute a lighting plan that aligns with the desired aesthetic and storytelling. Operate their own mirrorless camera to capture high-quality footage. Ensure proper focus, exposure, and composition throughout the shoot. Work efficiently and professionally on set, managing time effectively. Collaborate with other crew members, including sound technicians and production assistants. Maintain their own equipment in excellent working order. Potentially oversee or provide input on post-production color grading (negotiable based on experience and project needs). Requirements: Proven experience as a Director of Photography or Cinematographer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your visual skills. Must reside in or be able to easily work on location in Las Vegas, Nevada. No travel reimbursement is available for the Las Vegas shoots Must own and be proficient in operating a professional-grade mirrorless camera. Please specify the make and model of your camera in your proposal. Solid understanding of lighting principles and techniques for various shooting environments (indoor and outdoor). Knowledge of audio recording basics. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and 1 a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Reliable and punctual. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with specific types of video production relevant to our needs (e.g., corporate, B2B YouTube). Familiarity with different lens options and their creative applications. Compensation: Compensation will be negotiated on a per-project basis, taking into account the scope, complexity, and duration of each shoot.
