We’re looking for a talented, culturally attuned beauty and fashion writer to join our editorial team. Our platform serves dynamic Black women over 40 who embrace beauty, fashion, confidence, and evolving lifestyles. We believe in celebrating timeless style, radiant self-care, and the power of reinvention. Responsibilities: Write engaging, stylish, and relatable articles focused on beauty (skincare, haircare, makeup) and fashion (trends, timeless pieces, style tips) for Black women 40+ Create 2-4 articles per month (500-800 words each) Research and highlight products, brands, and trends that resonate with mature Black women Interview beauty and fashion experts (optional, but a plus) Pitch fresh content ideas aligned with our editorial calendar and seasonal themes Ensure all content is culturally authentic, empowering, and reflective of our audience’s diverse beauty Ideal Candidate: Proven experience writing about beauty and/or fashion (please share samples) Deep understanding of the unique beauty and style needs of Black women 40 and older Strong writing voice: vibrant, polished, and sisterly Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with our editorial team Familiarity with SEO best practices is a plus but not required Tone: Uplifting, stylish, knowledgeable, and relatable — think a mix of Essence, Vogue, and Allure, but specifically speaking to the evolved beauty and bold spirit of Black women in their 40s, 50s, and beyond.
