Engineering support in putting together the pieces to a tech prototype system (Access Control)

Need support with building a prototype for a project in the package management solutions industry. The prototype will be a system made up of a few "components" that will need to function well together. I currently have a pre-set list of possible components and hardware but, this is not my are of expertise. I am essentially asking for your experience in creating a prototype (possibly even an MVP) and put together these building blocks to create a practical system. I am absolutely willing to pay for your input and feedback. This position could lead to a job with a higher scope in technology or even CTO partnership. Depending on the project's trajection.
