Investor Research, Startup Fundraising, Email/Linkedin Lead Generation


We’re looking for a detail-oriented freelancer with strong research and outreach skills to help us identify and connect with the right investors for our AI-driven B2B enterprise software startup. Responsibilities: Research venture capital firms, family offices, angel investors, and other funding sources aligned with our stage, sector (AI/enterprise SaaS), and market focus (insurance and financial services) Build a qualified outreach list including contact names, roles, firm focus, portfolio companies, and contact information Draft compelling, personalized outreach messages for LinkedIn and email Manage the outreach campaign using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email sequences, or CRM Follow up with prospects, track responses, and help schedule introductory meetings Maintain organized reporting of outreach efforts and outcomes Qualifications: Experience with investor research and outbound campaigns (bonus if in B2B SaaS or fintech) Familiarity with tools like Crunchbase, PitchBook, Apollo, or similar Strong written communication and copywriting skills for professional outreach Highly organized, proactive, and results-driven Experience managing outreach campaigns on LinkedIn and via email Bonus Points For: Previous work with startups or accelerators Understanding of AI, SaaS, or insurance tech landscape Ability to draft investor-facing collateral (optional) To Apply: Please share: Relevant experience or case studies Tools you’ve used for investor outreach A sample of a past outreach message or campaign you’ve run We’re looking to start immediately.
