We are looking for a seasoned Magento Developer to join our remote team to be in charge of developing, maintaining, and improving their clients eCommerce websites. Recommended working time: Monday to Friday from 10am to 8pm. Duties and Responsibilities: ❖ Work with multiple teams and stakeholders to plan, implement, test, and deploy new features and enhancements for the enterprise eCommerce website ❖ Proactively identify and fix issues/bugs ❖ Work closely with the Application Developer, Database Administrator, and Systems Engineer to maintain and enhance integration between the web site and existing business systems (ERP, Salesforce, BI tools) ❖ Work with outside vendors as necessary to deploy upgrades, troubleshoot problems, and optimize website performance ❖ Create and maintain useful documentation for technical and non-technical audiences ❖ Work with the IT Director to develop a process framework for gathering requirements, prioritizing items, providing estimates and communicating changes ❖ Meeting with the design team to discuss the needs of the company. ❖ Building and configuring Magento 1x and 2x eCommerce websites. ❖ Coding of the Magento templates. ❖ Developing Magento modules in PHP using best practices. ❖ Designing themes and interfaces. ❖ Setting performance tasks and goals. ❖ Troubleshooting integration issues. ❖ Updating website features and security patches. Requirements: ❖ Strong theoretical background in software engineering and object-oriented programming. ❖ Strong understanding of database management and database design. ❖ At least 3 years of professional experience doing LAMP stack development, including server setup and configuration. ❖ At least 2 years of provable Magento experience, and at least 1 year of experience specifically on Magento 2. ❖ Experience with Magento 1 to 2 migration and Venia PWA Storefront would be highly preferred. ❖ Proven ability to create PHP shell scripts to manage bulk data processing. ❖ Working knowledge of one or more of the following: Angular, REACT, or Vue.js. ❖ Skilled in CSS, jQuery, and HTML. ❖ Experience using and helping to manage code repositories using Git or Subversion. ❖ A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field of study, or some other similar level of educational background, is preferred. ❖ Magento certifications (especially Associate or Professional backend certifications in Magento 2) are nice to have. ❖ We suggest submitting a small portfolio, Git/Bitbucket Repo or at least a code sample as proof of experience Start the proposal with the word Hola to let me know that you know all the requirementsCategory: IT & ProgrammingSubcategory: Web developmentWhat is the scope of the project?: Medium-sized changeIs this a project or a position?: ProjectI currently have: Not applicableRequired availability: As neededRoles needed: Developer
