Current Situation: The purpose of this Job Post is to NOT encourage you to work with us. There are a hundred reasons why working with us is a terrible idea. the work we do is extremely hard, challenging, difficult, and not for everyone. Although we have lots of potential, we currently have small budgets, and can't pay well until we get functional, and are focusing on fundraising and external revenue generaiton, new clients, and finding wokers who actually do client work income to pay ourselves. The client Work deliverables must get done on-time otherwsie anyone getting involved should not be expected to continue to work and get paid. If the work is not done on-time as agreed, then you should not expect to continue to work and get paid, period. You have to do the work by the deadline, or you need to change the deadline. New hires will have some exemptions from prevoius deadlines. All deadlines are overseen by the HR Board, and workers have the power to postpone deadlines if needed. In the past we have had lots of legal problems, and have past issues we are trying to work through with some of the people involved. We are working on buidling two new groups, so there will be 3 groups in total. 1) FQN - Past workers that have issues with 2) SFC - Buffer between the Past and Future 3) UNITY - New workers who want to move forward without connection to the past. Each indivual will have to choose a group, and the communications and scheduling will be a little different in each group. Group 3, UNITY, will start with a little less time, as they will not be able to communicate with group 1, but once we get everything organized and worked out, group 3 may be the most active group moving forward. We have extensive policies, and you will be required to learn the policies in real time. If you do not follow the policies, then you do not get paid. Following the policies is the assigned work. It is fine to break a policy knowingly and then we do policy training as we learn and you stlil continue to work and get paid. If we don't like a policy we can change it. What we can't do is ignore the policies. All policies are agreed by consensus and everyone gets equal vote in the worker cooperative. We have spent 1000's of hours building agreement on all our policies. Getting Started You will need to agree to publicly searchable communications to be invovled. If you do not want your communications to be public on social media and the internet, then this is not the correct position for you. It is ok to use an alias, and even change your voice for voice recordings. You will do your budget proposal, which will include your value pay rate, and how that will relate to our bonsues and upfront deliverables pay. When you start with our recrutiment process, you will get paid upfront for each deliverable. Each deliverable is valued at $2. So even before you are approved to work with us, you can get paid for just going through our recruitment process. This includes $2 for the Interview, $2 for the POPP. If you want to jump in and help with the budget you can get paid to finelize the budget. After you are approved you will get $2 for the completion of the legal responsiblity. So that is about $5-$10+ for completing the recrutimetn process. So your initial fixed rate contract will be for about $6 for completing the recruitment process. As part of the recruitment process, we will be calculating your expected pay, and that will be the amount for future contracts to continue as you join the team. To help prevent confusion, all workers will have both a fixed price and hourly price agreement, so that it is very clear what you are getting invovled in, that you actually have both hourly value and minimum client work income requirments to get paid. You can start tracking your hours immeidatly while reading this, and add to your temporary recruitemnt proposal. Schedule: Currently we are working at 8pm UTC about 5 days per week. Each day we work for about 1.5 hours. In may these times may change and we are also adding a old world time that will be more like 8am UTC. The schedule can change based on availablility of workers and the needs of the organization. What work you would do? For the daysyou are scheduled, you will show up for work ontime, 15 before your wortk time starts we check in on discord to coordinate buddy teams. We typically meet on jitsi, and it is very important to be ontime, or at least within a few minutes, to get full pay. We have two types of worker positions. Everyone starts as a Foundational Workers typically communicate with audio only, and work on all our primary work for the organization. This includes Running our sessions profeshonally, and verifing we follow every real-time policy is the most important thing. We do work in Buddy Team Sessinos with a maximum of 3 people, and our Main Sessions are where we make our decisions.  Our sessions are a reflection of our ability to function accross the entire organization. Good sessions = organizational success. Bad sessions = organizational failure. The second position is for Public Image Worker. Public Image workers are the face of the organization, and are required to have a higher level of communication and interaction skills so they can present themselves publically to represent everyone. For broadcasting you need much better internet connection and need to have your video and face on recordings. This position wont be for everyone, but does pay more money as it has additional deliverables. Public Image workers are still resposnible for all foundational work as well. Each session is structured similar. 15min set up, 30min client work, 30min operations work, and 15min wrap up. Thats it. Every day you will be helping keep track of priorites, do our recordings, summaries, public posts, indexing trainings, organizing and linking doccuments, making sure we meet deadlines, and supporting our project managment and coordination for the team. Our model is more of an aprenticeship model, so you don't have to know how to do everything, as you can observe, and take on the tasks and responsiblites overtime. We function like a start up, so each of us are responsible for everything, and that includes our internal operations, coordination, budget, payroll, doccumentaiton and more...
