Help Wanted: Education Advocate – Lento Law Group Lento Law Group is seeking a passionate and experienced Education Advocate to join our growing team. This position focuses on supporting families through complex K-12 and higher education matters, including special education, disciplinary actions, academic appeals, and Title IX-related cases. Responsibilities: • Serve as a direct advocate for students and families in education-related disputes • Assist attorneys with case preparation, documentation, and hearing strategies • Attend IEP meetings, school board hearings, and disciplinary proceedings • Provide guidance and support to clients navigating school systems • Maintain detailed case notes and ensure timely follow-up Requirements: • Experience in education advocacy, social work, school administration, or a related field • Strong understanding of IEP/504 plans, school discipline procedures, and college-level academic policies • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Compassionate and client-centered approach • Ability to work remotely and manage multiple cases Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Social Policy, or related field • Prior experience working with attorneys or law firms on education-related issues This is a remote position with competitive pay, opportunity for growth, and a chance to make real impact in the lives of students and families.
