CineMed Learn, the education division of CineMed, is expanding! We're seeking an experienced Instructional Designer who is passionate about creating innovative, high-quality, and engaging healthcare education programs. This is a critical, long-term role where you'll collaborate closely with our internal team, subject matter experts (SMEs), and external partners to design transformative online learning experiences for healthcare professionals. About CineMed Learn: CineMed is a leading provider of healthcare education, CME accreditation, and event management solutions, trusted by academic medical centers, health systems, and associations across the U.S. CineMed Learn represents our future-forward division, focusing on developing scalable, impactful learning products that drive measurable outcomes in clinical knowledge and practice. Your Mission: You will be a core contributor to CineMed Learn’s success by applying strong instructional design principles, innovative learning strategies, and user-centric course development methods. You'll help build a portfolio of courses that are not only educational but also intuitive, engaging, and built for modern learners. Responsibilities: Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to scope and design online learning programs (microlearning, eLearning modules, blended programs, certificate courses, etc.) Develop learning objectives, curriculum frameworks, storyboards, and assessments aligned with clinical education standards. Translate complex healthcare/medical content into clear, learner-friendly experiences. Design and structure courses using best practices in instructional design (e.g., ADDIE, SAM). Recommend and integrate multimedia elements (video, interactive assessments, infographics, case studies, simulations). Work with our production team to ensure seamless handoff from storyboard to development. Apply adult learning theory, accessibility standards, and evidence-based learning science to all deliverables. Help define the CineMed Learn brand voice and quality benchmarks for educational products. Ideal Candidate: ✅ 5+ years of instructional design experience (preferably in healthcare, medical, or professional education) ✅ Strong portfolio demonstrating diverse learning products (send samples!) ✅ Expertise with authoring tools (Articulate 360, Rise, Vyond, etc.) ✅ Familiarity with LMS platforms and SCORM/xAPI standards ✅ Clear understanding of adult learning principles and healthcare compliance requirements (HIPAA, CME/CE guidelines a plus) ✅ Strong project management, communication, and collaboration skills ✅ Ability to work independently but thrive in a collaborative team environment ✅ Passion for innovation and continuous improvement in online learning Bonus Points If You Have: Experience working with CME-accredited content or in clinical education Knowledge of microlearning, gamification, adaptive learning strategies Basic graphic design, video editing, or UX/UI skills for learning Experience developing end-to-end products: from ideation to launch Project Scope: This will start as a project-based engagement with the strong intention to become an ongoing, long-term relationship.
