I'm looking to consult with an A/V equipment specialist to talk through the best way to set up a specific part of a video podcast studio -- a streamlined recording process that requires the least time and file management. We have a 3-cam setup, and considering the following process: Plugging each camera into its own Cam Link, and then connecting all the Cam Links to a USB dock that’s attached to the computer. Then, opening three separate tabs of Riverside.fm—one for each camera. In each tab, I’d join as a different participant and assign one camera to each participant slot. This way, Riverside would record all three camera angles at the same time, each as a separate participant in the studio. If you have experience with a similar process, I'd love to discuss the pros and cons and possible alternatives.
