Background: Despite significant investments across paid media, Amazon, email marketing, SEO, and other marketing channels, our golf fitness business has consistently struggled to achieve sustainable growth and effective marketing outcomes. We are a direct-to-consumer (DTC) brand operating in the competitive golf fitness space, and we are seeking a Fractional Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to provide the strategic leadership necessary to optimize our marketing efforts and drive performance. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with our business goals, positioning our brand clearly within the golf fitness market. Brand Positioning: Refine our brand messaging to clearly communicate our unique value proposition and deeply resonate with our target audience. Marketing Operations Oversight: Manage and optimize all marketing channels — including paid media, SEO, email marketing, Amazon/e-commerce strategies, and organic content — ensuring cohesive, effective, and high-ROI campaigns. Data-Driven Decision Making: Establish KPIs, implement analytics frameworks, and make data-backed decisions to optimize marketing performance continuously. Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor our internal marketing team (and external agencies, if applicable), fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and results-driven execution. Qualifications: Proven experience as a CMO or senior marketing leader within direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands, ideally in the health, fitness, wellness, or sports industries. Demonstrated success revitalizing underperforming marketing programs and driving strong ROI. Deep expertise in digital marketing strategies across paid media, organic growth, Amazon marketplace optimization, SEO, and CRM/email marketing. Strong analytical and data interpretation skills to inform strategy and optimization. Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills. Engagement Terms: This is a part-time, contract role with an expected commitment of 15 hours per week. Combination of remote work with occasional in-person collaboration as needed. Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience and engagement scope.
