We are hiring a blog and content writer. In this role, you will write for the organization’s digital and print assets, including the blog, website, social media, marketing communications, and more. You should love to write! You should be actively writing for a blog and other clients. You are interested in philanthropy, people, and stories of impact. You should also know how to convey a message with meaning and impact. You should have a diverse writing skill set, which will allow you to write for the web, social media, blogs, and donor-facing letters and communications (direct mail and email). The role is a remote, part-time position and will most likely be a contractor role (although there may be the option to be hired as an employee). Key Responsibilities • Content planning and strategy (optional) • Blog Writing • Website Writing • Communications writing (email and print) • Social Media Writing Qualifications • 5 years experience writing as a blogger or in other content writing roles • Experience with different writing styles and channels • Understanding of how to create content for different audiences • Interest or experience with nonprofit organizations We are open to hourly, per-task, or per-deliverable pay structures. This is an ongoing role.
