We’re a nonprofit organization looking to optimize our YouTube channel to increase visibility, improve engagement, and create a more professional and cohesive viewer experience. Our channel contains a mix of videos and podcast episodes focused on supporting breast cancer survivors. We’re looking for an experienced YouTube channel manager who can help us clean up our existing content, optimize for SEO, and build a consistent brand look throughout the channel. Scope of Work: -Channel Cleanup & Organization -Audit existing content and recommend what to archive/remove -Reorganize playlists and feature key videos on the homepage -SEO Optimization -Improve video titles, tags, and descriptions for better searchability -Implement keyword strategies for discoverability -Thumbnails & Visual Branding -Design new, eye-catching thumbnails for older videos we’re keeping -Ensure a consistent look and feel across all thumbnails -Homepage Optimization -Highlight our most relevant videos and playlists -Update channel banner and description for brand consistency -Podcast Integration -Upload and optimize the first 10–15 episodes of our podcast -Create a consistent video format and thumbnail design for episodes -Channel Branding & Recommendations -Develop a cohesive visual style and provide future branding guidelines -Suggest ongoing improvements for long-term growth Deliverables: -Channel audit & cleanup report -SEO-optimized video metadata -Redesigned thumbnails -Reorganized channel homepage and playlists -Uploaded and optimized podcast episodes -Branding templates or style guide for future content Ideal Freelancer: -Proven experience optimizing YouTube channels (portfolio required) -Strong grasp of YouTube SEO and content strategy -Graphic design skills for thumbnail creation -Familiarity with nonprofits or cause-driven work is a plus -This is a project-based opportunity with potential for ongoing collaboration as we grow our channel.
