Our newly formed consulting group is seeking an experienced graphic design professional to brainstorm our brand’s logo. Our name is our purpose and it’s steeped in sentiment and symbolism and we hope to hire a designer that will hear our story (via Zoom or a similar platform) and then brainstorm a set of instructions that we’ll use to create our logo and branding. For clarity: this job is specifically for a 60min (1.00hr) brainstorming session only. We plan to recruit one of our brainstormers to take our notes and the ideas from all who successfully complete the brainstorm job and’s have them complete the actual design. We require that all prospective applicants who are invited to work with us refrain from using artificial intelligence tools (ChatGPT, Canva AI Design, Dal-E, etc.). This is a deal breaker for us. AI tools can be great in certain circumstances, this is not one of them. (Ok, whew, you’re nearly to the end. If you’ve read this far, we assume you’re curious at the very least. We’re hoping to work with people who let passion for themselves and their community drive their work. Also, additional preference will be given to designers that have ever worked in any capacity (including unpaid/volunteer/intern roles unrelated to design), in the nonprofit sector around efforts at community mobilization.
