Shopify Web Developer/Designer for Ongoing Support

We're Lotus Sustainables, a fast-growing Certified B Corp on a mission to eliminate single-use bags. With our reusable products in over 10,000 retailers and as a best-seller online, we’ve already helped eliminate the need for over 5 billion single use plastic bags—and we’re just getting started. Our team is looking to contract a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to support our efforts on our sustainable mission. In this role, you’ll provide ad hoc support for our website needs, including Shopify-based coding updates, formatting fixes, design enhancements, and UX improvements. Ideal candidates have a strong eye for clean design, experience working within Shopify, and the technical ability to implement front-end changes that align with our brand. Tasks include: - Updating web copy that requires changes in Shopify code (Liquid/HTML/CSS) - Fixing spacing, alignment, and formatting issues on various pages - Adding icons (we’ll provide the images) to bullet points for visual enhancement - Adjusting popup timing on site load - Making minor UX improvements as needed Qualifications: - Solid experience with Shopify, including custom theme work - Proficiency in Liquid, HTML, CSS, and responsive design best practices - Strong eye for clean, consistent design - Great communication skills and ability to work independently - Bonus: Passion for mission-driven or sustainability-focused brands Project type: Ongoing freelance / as-needed basis Additional Notes: - Opportunity for growth - MUST have examples of previous work Lotus Sustainables is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
