I'm the founder of a new solo marketing operations agency and looking for a part-time SDR to help me start building a client base. The goal is simple: book qualified discovery meetings with early-stage companies that could use part-time marketing operations support. What I’m looking for: Someone confident picking up the phone and handling objections Previous sales experience carrying a quota (SDR, BDR, AE, etc.) Familiarity with marketing operations, revenue operations, or CRM platforms like HubSpot or Salesforce A self-starter who’s comfortable working remotely and independently Responsibilities: Cold call targeted prospects to generate interest Book intro meetings directly on my calendar Follow up with leads through calls, emails, and LinkedIn Clearly communicate the value of hiring fractional marketing operations support Ideal Background: 1+ year in outbound sales or lead generation Experience or understanding of marketing operations or revenue operation is a big plus Strong communication and persistence skills Comfortable working part-time (10–15 hours/week)
