Expectations - Implement, configure, and manage the Adobe Marketo Engage platform, including various program types and integrations. - Design programs and smart campaigns to address various marketing use cases. - Design, maintain, and troubleshoot data models and feeds through various interfaces such as social and/or CRM integrations, file uploads, and APIs. - Create segmentations and snippets based on defined rules. - Configure and deploy filtered or triggered smart campaigns and personalized email assets. Advise clients on marketing automation capabilities, processes, and industry best practices. - Proactively recommend to clients to enhance their use of marketing technology tools. - Analyze marketing journey/program performance and provide proactive client recommendations regarding reporting enhancements. - Design, configure, test, debug and deploy quality, scalable, well-documented solutions on the Marketo Engage platform. - Serve as lead consultant for multiple accounts and across multiple industries. - Train, mentor, and guide other consultants on the Marketo Engage platform related to implementations, optimization, and management. - Lead discovery sessions and develop innovative solutions that meet client needs. Qualifications - 4+ years of experience working in Adobe Marketo Engage. Experience with lead scoring, CRM integrations, and template building is a plus. - Ability to define and articulate business requirements and architect solutions leveraging a client’s Marketo platform, CRM platform(s), and potentially other marketing technologies. - Experience creating programs, smart campaigns, assets, and custom reporting within a client’s Marketo Engage instance. Experience implementing a client’s new instance of Marketo Engage. - Experience building guided templates is a plus. - Strong proficiency with marketing automation and marketing strategy best practices, lead management, lead nurturing, deliverability, and performance reporting. - Strong analytic, collaborative, leadership, presentation, and problem-solving skills bent toward continual learning. - Marketo Certified Associate or Marketo Certified Expert certification is required. Marketo Certified Expert Certification is preferred.
