We’re hiring a highly organized, creative, and proactive Marketing Coordinator to support our team with marketing tasks, project management, content creation, and administrative support. This role will start as a project-based remote virtual position, and estimate about 5-10 hours/ week. There is opportunity for more hours for the right candidate. We’re seeking a proactive, resourceful, and relentlessly organized Marketing Coordinator who knows how to take the ball and run with it — no babysitting required. This is a contract role with flexibility, but don’t mistake "remote" for "easy." We move fast, set high standards, and expect high quality work. RESPONSIBILITIES • Assist with content creation, proofing and editing for social media, press releases, blogs, articles, emails and marketing collateral. • Assist with graphic design projects utilizing Canva. • Write, edit, and schedule social media posts, blogs, email blasts and newsletters that don't sound like ChatGPT 101. • Assist with Marketing, Publicity and Branding campaigns and support project management efforts. • Assist with client communication and internal team coordination including proactive email and phone follow-up. Manage project timelines and keep internal and client-facing initiatives on track. • Conduct market research and compile reports. • Maintain and update CRM databases and marketing tools. • Perform general administrative duties related to marketing projects. YOU ARE • Highly organized, self-motivated, and allergic to excuses. • Sharp with communication — both written and verbal. • Someone who thrives on deadlines and takes pride in clean, complete work. • Adaptable and quick on your feet (no "but no one told me" types.) • Comfortable working independently and owning your outcomes. • Fluent in Canva, social media management tools, CRM platforms, and basic website updates (WordPress familiarity = major plus. Training is provided.) • Naturally curious and consistently two steps ahead. REQUIREMENTS • 2+ years of marketing or communications experience. • Professional, polished and savvy with excellent communication skills and advanced knowledge of Marketing and Publicity tactics and strategies. • Ability to manage projects, teams, deadlines, and campaigns and work independently with detailed level of attention in a fast-paced environment. • Client Relations: Manage clients and projects regarding deadlines, timelines, scope, request for information, etc. • Team Relations: Manage internal team regarding deadlines, timelines, scope, request for information, etc. • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills and consistent usage of tools to auto-correct. • Proficiency with Social Media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube). • Familiarity with tools like Canva, WordPress, Hootsuite/Buffer, Constant Contact, and/or Mailchimp. • Ethical usage of AI tools required along with an ongoing commitment to learning. • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask. • Self-starter with excellent communication and time management skills. • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. • Optional: Attend networking events/ tradeshows on an occasional basis. • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint required. Knowledge of Google Drive a plus.
