We are seeking a skilled legal professional (Paralegals, Attorneys, Legal Researchers welcome) to annotate and curate evaluation data for legal workflows. You will be responsible for: Legal Expertise: Help establish requirements and considerations for the type of collected data. Applying your legal knowledge to ensure accurate and nuanced data labeling, particularly for complex legal concepts. Data Annotation: Accurately labeling and categorizing legal dockets and documents (contracts, case law, etc.) according to specific guidelines. Quality Assurance: Reviewing annotated data for accuracy and consistency. Workflow Insights: Bringing your understanding of common legal tasks to bear on the evaluation of an AI model. Required Skills & Experience: - Legal Expertise: JD, Paralegal Certificate from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience in a legal role. - Significant experience working with legal documents and dockets. - Strong understanding of legal terminology and workflows. - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent English communication skills. Preferred Skills: - Prior experience in working with LLMs (e.g., ChatGPT) for legal use cases - Familiarity with legal tech tools.
