We’re looking for a U.S.-based Content Curator Team Lead to help oversee a growing team responsible for identifying the best user-generated videos on our platform. This role is ideal for someone who is deeply immersed in TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts — and knows exactly what makes content engaging, shareable, and trend-worthy. As Team Lead, you’ll not only curate high-quality videos yourself, but also manage a team of 5–10 curators, ensuring they are evaluating content accurately, staying on top of social trends, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Responsibilities -Review and assess user-uploaded videos based on engagement potential, quality, and trend relevance. -Set personal preferences aside to focus solely on content that is high-quality and platform-appropriate. -Stay updated on viral trends, social media culture, and evolving engagement strategies across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. -Manage and mentor a team of 5–10 curators, ensuring accurate video rating, efficient workflows, and strong team communication. -Communicate team performance and major content insights clearly to leadership. -Write and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to guide curation best practices. -Provide regular feedback and coaching to the team to maintain and improve curation quality. Requirements -Must be U.S.-based (we are prioritizing U.S.-centric content). -Strong experience and daily engagement with TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. -Keen eye for recognizing high-quality, high-performing content across different niches (lifestyle, fitness, comedy, education, etc.). -Ability to separate personal taste from objective content quality assessments. -Prior experience leading a team or managing workflows is highly preferred. -Strong organizational and communication skills. -Comfort writing SOPs and process guides to help scale the team’s work effectively. Prior experience in content curation, social media management, digital marketing, or a similar field is a plus.
