We are seeking a technical deliverability specialist to resolve ongoing email delivery issues related to Proofpoint, Mimecast, and similar secure email gateways (SEGs). The consultant will: - Review and validate our existing email authentication setup (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) to ensure there are no remaining issues that could impact deliverability. - Analyze current delivery failures and security filtering responses (including headers, bouncebacks, and quarantine notifications) to confirm the nature of the filtering. - Directly engage with SEG providers (e.g., Proofpoint, Mimecast) through appropriate channels (abuse desks, postmaster services, or escalations) to clear our sending domain and IPs at the provider level — not necessarily through individual client IT departments (we've already tried this, not working). - Manage the submission of delisting/whitelisting requests and reputation review tickets with SEG companies where applicable. - Provide documentation and status updates regarding clearing progress across affected SEGs. - Recommend any additional technical adjustments necessary to maintain a clean deliverability profile once cleared. Important: - This project requires a consultant who can directly liaise with SEG vendors (Proofpoint, Mimecast, etc.), not really client-side IT departments (which appears to not be working). - Prior experience with reputation recovery through Proofpoint, Mimecast, or similar providers is strongly preferred.
