Experienced Event Manager with Sales Expertise Needed

As we grow, we are looking for a sharp, highly organized, and entrepreneurial Event Manager to take ownership of our event operations and help drive sponsorship revenue. ROLE You’ll be both an event architect and a revenue builder — responsible for managing all logistics of our capital markets events AND playing a key role in sponsorship sales. You won't just plan events — you’ll be at the heart of making them profitable and successful. Core Responsibilities: • End-to-End Event Management o Venue scouting and negotiation o Agenda planning and speaker coordination o Vendor sourcing (catering, A/V, decor, etc.) o On-site event execution and team leadership o Post-event reporting and analysis • Sponsorship Sales o Identify, pitch, and secure event sponsors o Build and maintain sponsor relationships o Negotiate sponsorship packages o Earn commission for each secured sponsor • Cross-functional Coordination o Work closely with marketing to promote events o Partner with leadership to align event strategies with business goals IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE • 3+ years of experience in event planning or event management • Sales-savvy — you have a proven track record of pitching and closing deals (event sponsorship experience is a huge plus) • Finance & Capital Markets Knowledge — you understand (or are excited to learn) the world of capital markets, finance, and investments • Detail-Obsessed & Deadline-Driven — you thrive under pressure and never let anything slip through the cracks • Confident Communicator — comfortable presenting to C-level executives and industry leaders • Self-Starter — highly proactive, comfortable working independently in a fas-tmoving environment COMPENSATION & PERKS • Competitive fee per event • Attractive commission structure for each sponsorship secured • Flexible remote work options • Opportunity to shape the future of a rapidly growing niche event brand • Access to premier networking opportunities across the capital markets industry
