Simon’s Heart is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing sudden cardiac arrest and death in children, teens, and young adults. Our mission is to raise awareness, drive early detection, and make life-saving interventions more accessible. You can learn more about us at simonsheart.org. We are seeking an experienced social media manager to create, post, and manage engaging content across our platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn). We are looking for someone who is really curious and wants to figure out how to use photos, current events and stories to engage the public about a pretty serious and scary subject. The ideal contractor is creative, reliable, and passionate about using digital communications to drive mission impact. Scope of Work: • Create and manage a monthly content calendar. • Design and publish 3–4 posts per week. • Monitor social media channels and respond to comments/messages. • Suggest strategies for audience growth and engagement. • Support campaigns, events, and partnership announcements. • Provide basic analytics and recommendations each month. Requirements: • 2+ years of social media management experience (preferably cause-related work). • Strong skills in content creation (copy + graphics) using Canva or similar tools. • Understanding of nonprofit messaging and mission-driven communications. Estimated Commitment: 8–10 hours per month.
