The Opportunity: We’re seeking a Medical Content Writer with a strong background in breast cancer, particularly HER2+ and HER2-Low metastatic breast cancer therapies. The ideal candidate will be both scientifically fluent and a skilled communicator while being able to translate complex medical data into clear, engaging content tailored to oncology healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities: ● Participate in initial client calls with pharmaceutical companies to understand educational goals and key messages ● Collaborate with internal teams and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to develop presentation content (e.g., slide decks, case studies, speaker notes) ● Ensure medical accuracy, scientific rigor, and alignment with industry regulations and client branding ● Assist in crafting post-event summary reports and analyses for pharmaceutical sponsors ● Adapt content for different medical education formats including live events, webinars, and follow-up materials ● Stay current on the latest developments in metastatic breast cancer, especially HER2-targeted therapies Qualifications: ● Proven experience in medical writing with a focus on oncology (breast cancer preferred) ● Ability to quickly understand and interpret clinical data, research studies, and FDA-approved therapies ● Some experience working with pharmaceutical clients and/or KOLs ● Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal ● Comfortable working collaboratively across teams and participating in client-facing meetings ● Degree or higher in a life science field (PhD or PharmD preferred) Nice to Have: ● Familiarity with medical education agencies and content creation workflows ● Experience writing for oncologists, nurse practitioners, and other HCPs ● Understanding of FDA and PhRMA guidelines for promotional content Why Work With Us ● Work at the forefront of medical education and communication ● Collaborate with respected leaders in the oncology and pharma space ● Be part of a fast-moving, high-impact team that values clarity, accuracy, and innovation
