I have an RPP file that I'm satisfied with, even "pressed to track" but other than a little outboard compression and a Fishman Aura Spectrum to compensate for the cheap Taylor's internal electrics making the guitar sound like a tin man on a tin roof, it has no FX chains, no automations, no vocal chain, no autotune, no EQ. Looking for someone who can tastefully add some of these into the project file, then send the RPP back to me so that I can not only learn something, but so that my track makes my mom happy. I am a chemical engineer, not a musician, so I need all the help I can get for mastering/mixing/etc. There are two takes in the RPP file, and it's possible to stitch together, however, keep in mind that I did not play to a click source. I really prefer to do live takes as a solo acoustic artist, lots more ability to be surprising with tempo off grid. Song is copyright, so this is obiously not for commercial use, so if you don't have Reaper already, you may download it for free to work on this project! Commercial licenses only apply if I'm making any money. This is for fun, despite how serious I take myself. :-) Also attached my pathetic attempt at rendering to WAV (which format would you recommend to render to, btw?)\ Always looking to learn, seeing inside someone else's RPP work on my project would be illuminating! If there are plugins you use that I would need, we can discuss and see if I have something myself to substitute the FX or VST on my side before final render. I have a few freebie VSTs from over the years. Cheers and stay up! Peace, Devin Let me know if there are any questions, at all, and if you dare to, I do not mind to receive any vocal feedback - my voice in this track sounds a little strained like I could have used some more warmup and some of my vowels are wonky and my phrasing betrays that I just learned the song 10 minutes before. But besides that, if it sounds good enough, my mom will die happy.
