As the Business Development Manager/ Key C-suite coordinator, our Wizard of Want or a Herder of pet-parents; you will be the driving force behind expanding Petorable’s reach and building a strong, engaged community of users. Your deep understanding of Gen Z culture, trends, and digital behaviors and razor-sharp abilities to discern digital trends and assess what’s hot and trending Vs. cold and shelved; will be essential in crafting strategies that resonate with this key demographic. You will leverage your expertise in social media, influencer marketing, and audience-building to drive app adoption and growth. Be strongly data and metrics driven. You’ll shadow Senior Leadership and work closely to deliver engagement results and make sure we hit our marcom metrics. You’ll manage yourself around tight, yet realistic timelines and work on all areas of business and channel development. You’ll learn about partnerships, vendor communication and align our business development effort with our GTM strategies and work on all these areas with the guidance of the team. You’ll work closely with your mentors in Product Leadership and help accomplish product goals by driving Business development effort. Your day-to-day responsibilities might be more tactical, with a focus on being meticulous with great attention to detail, while you continue to focus on the big picture. Responsibilities you’ll shoulder with a little bit of help from our team Strategic Partnerships: Identify and develop strategic partnerships with brands, influencers, and content creators that align with our app’s brand and target audience. Market Research & Trend Analysis: Stay ahead of digital trends, emerging platforms, and social media innovations to inform business development strategies. Audience Building: Utilize your knowledge of the latest social media tricks and tools to grow and engage our audience across various platforms. Digital Campaigns: Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute digital campaigns that drive user acquisition and retention. Networking & Events: Represent the company at relevant industry events, both online and offline, to build relationships and increase brand visibility. Reporting & Analysis: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development activities, providing actionable insights to guide future strategies. Skills and qualifications for you to thrive in this role Gen Z Savvy: You are deeply connected with Gen Z culture and digital behaviors, with an innate ability to predict and leverage trends before they hit the mainstream. Social Media Expertise: You have a proven track record of growing social media followings and driving engagement, with a deep understanding of platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and emerging networks. Audience Builder: You know how to create and sustain a buzz, whether through viral campaigns, influencer partnerships, or organic community growth. Creative & Cool: You think outside the box and have a finger on the pulse of what’s cool, relevant, and impactful in the digital world. Relationship Builder: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to forge strong relationships with partners, influencers, and other key stakeholders. Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure and optimize business development efforts using datadriven insights. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in business development, digital marketing, or a related field, ideally within the tech or app industry in a fast-paced consumer facing environment.
