Social Media & Marketing Assistant

Social Media & Marketing Assistant Remote position but opportunity to meet up at our Chicago office or in the Philadelphia area | 5 - 15 hours/week (Monday – Friday) Do you have a knack for clever captions, eye-catching graphics, and digital storytelling? Wanna put that energy to good use for a company that brings music, games, and good vibes to bars, restaurants, and venues across the country? About AMI Entertainment We’re not your typical tech company. At AMI, we help venues come alive with jukeboxes that rock music videos on the big screen, app-connected trivia games, cashless arcade payments, and digital ad tools that keep the fun going. Our products light up TVs and turn passive screens into party starters. From pool halls to your favorite dive bar, if there's music, there's probably AMI. And now, we’re looking for a creative and driven Marketing & Social Assistant to join the party behind the scenes. What You’ll Do You’ll help us tell our story across digital platforms, build hype for music and app features, trivia content, plus spotlight our customers. Here’s a taste of your day-to-day: • Assist with writing, designing, and scheduling posts across Meta (Facebook & IG), LinkedIn, and more • Craft catchy captions and content that speak to both businesses and music- and trivia-loving fans • Help develop a content calendar for our B2B and B2C channels • Research trends and brainstorm new content ideas • Upload video content to YouTube • Monitor social channels, respond to DMs/comments, and keep an eye on app store reviews • Edit website content as needed • Contribute to a bigger-picture plan for building engagement and growing our digital presence Who You Are You're independent, creative, and ready to roll up your sleeves. You're not afraid to ask questions—and you're also not afraid to pitch that wild idea. Bonus points if you’ve ever queued up a bar jukebox from your phone. Must-haves: • Experience with Meta Business Suite (Facebook/Instagram) • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, etc.) • Basic design skills (Canva or similar) • Solid copywriting and communication skills • Ability to work independently, manage time and meet deadlines • Curious, collaborative, and plugged into digital trends • Available for 5–15 hours/week preferably between 9am–4pm EDT • Reliable Wi-Fi and a sense of humor Nice-to-haves: • Experience with Microsoft Teams or Slack • Experience with Constant Contact (or similar email platforms) • WordPress or other website backend tools • Background in digital marketing, communications, or journalism • Some familiarity with content management systems • A love of trivia, live music, or bar games (seriously, you'll fit right in) Perks: • 100% remote • Flexible hours • Behind-the-scenes access to a company shaking up the entertainment scene Ready to join a team that helps people press play on a good time? Shoot us your resume, a quick intro, and (if you’ve got one) a portfolio or sample of your work.
