CDP - Segment Implementation Specialist – CRM, Website, and Data Integration

Description: We're looking for a Segment integration specialist to help us with a one-time setup project. Your job will be to identify our customer data sources (CRM, website, backend, etc.) and configure them as Segment sources, so our events and user traits can flow cleanly into destinations. We’re not hiring for general analytics or event tracking — this is about getting the data plumbing right so our existing tracking engineer can build on top of it. Goals: • Identify all relevant customer data sources in our tech stack • Connect them into Segment using the right method (API, webhook, source libraries, etc.) • Confirm data is flowing into Segment properly • Ensure no personally identifiable information (PII) is sent where it shouldn’t be • Provide light documentation of what was connected and how • What you’ll work with: • Our CRM (airtable) • Our website (Webflow, integrated via Wized) • Backend services (Xano, Stripe, Calendly) • Segment workspace (already live, minimal setup so far) • Other tools like Make.com or Zapier Deliverables: • List of all identified data sources with recommended connection methods • Working Segment sources for CRM, website, backend • Example data flowing through Segment to at least one destination • Brief documentation for future maintenance Requirements: • You’ve connected CRMs and web platforms to Segment before • You understand the difference between sources, destinations, and tracking plans • You’re comfortable working with APIs, webhooks, or low-code tools like Make • Bonus: experience with Wized, Xano, or Stripe Project Type: Fixed-scope / Milestone-based — 1 to 2 weeks of work Budget: Open to proposals – please include: 1 example of a similar Segment integration you’ve done Whether you can start this week
