Overview A boutique professional services firm specializing in high-end advisory work is seeking an experienced freelance WordPress website designer to refresh and modernize the design, layout, and graphics of its existing website. The current site is built on WordPress, and the platform will remain unchanged. The ideal candidate will bring a clean, professional design sensibility appropriate for a firm serving sophisticated B2B clients. After the initial redesign, the freelancer will also be responsible for ongoing updates and maintenance. Important Note All written content will be provided. The scope of this role is focused on visual design, layout enhancement, and ongoing WordPress management. Scope of Work - Redesign the site’s visual layout, user interface, and graphic presentation to reflect a modern, trustworthy brand - Maintain existing WordPress infrastructure while refreshing the overall look and feel - Implement responsive design, updated themes, clean navigation, and improved presentation of text and imagery - Create or select graphics, icons, and other visual elements to complement the provided content - Ensure the site is optimized for speed, mobile viewing, and basic SEO - Provide ongoing support for routine updates, security, plugin management, and occasional layout tweaks - Integrate basic tools (e.g., contact forms, analytics, optional third-party integrations) Qualifications - Demonstrated expertise designing WordPress websites for professional or corporate audiences - Portfolio showing clean, modern, and minimalist website designs - Proficiency with WordPress themes and page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery, Divi), HTML/CSS, and design tools - Knowledge of user experience (UX) and responsive design principles - Clear communication skills and ability to work independently Bonus Skills (Preferred but Not Required) - Experience working with financial services, legal, or consulting firms - Familiarity with SEO fundamentals - Ability to advise on best practices for performance and accessibility Engagement Details - One-time project to redesign the site, followed by an ongoing freelance support relationship - Flexible timing, but target for first draft concepts is within 2–3 weeks - Please include your project-based bid or hourly rate, depending on your preferred engagement style To Apply Please submit: 1.
