attached is a zipped file with a similar market’s classified banners and fillers…(Will have to send an alternate way due to size of the attachment) Use these as a guide for size and contents on new creative for Austin Statesman and its 4 weeklies…. My goal is to have one set for all of them if possible. Loading these into our new pagination system is painful so the less files we are dealing with the better. Remember…. We don’t really need more than 3 creatives per size on the category of fillers we are dealing with…. If there are verticals (like employment or obits) with there own fillers we need to reproduce those vertical specific contents as well. I noticed we have in the example market some fillers that have both BW and Color versions. My suggestion here is to just create a bw versions…. Adding color versions just complicates pagination. (its also less for your designer to have think about.) Priority and dates for deliverables….. Get the banners done first…. All of those will end up having all of the contact information, websites, hours etc needed before you jump into fillers creation…. Next up…. do one full set of fillers sizes first. Once those are verified, send them (and the banners) my way and I’ll load them in. Then work on a 2nd set with a different content approach…. Verify, and send them my way. Then finally a 3rd set. Id like to have all banner variations, and the 1st set of fillers done by May 19th to give me time to load them into our system and be ready for Mock testing for pubdates June 1-7. The 2nd set of fillers need to be done by June 16th. And the 3rd set of fillers need to be done by July 14th.
