Job Title: Freelance Automation & Workflow Specialist (n8n / Make / API Integrations) Job Type: Contract - Hybrid (Remote and In Person) Hollywood FL About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable freelance automation expert to help structure and build end-to-end automated workflows for multiple media and content-driven businesses. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with tools like n8n, Make.com, and various API integrations, and is comfortable working independently in a fast-moving, tech-forward environment. About Us: We operate a portfolio of seven digital media companies focused on newsletters, wellness, content distribution, AI video, and social media automation. We’re building a lean, no-code/low-code backend powered by AI and automation—no employees, just intelligent systems and a few top freelancers. ⸻ Responsibilities: • Design, build, and maintain automation workflows using n8n, Make, and other relevant tools. • Integrate AI content tools like Writesonic, ElevenLabs, Midjourney, Pika Labs, RunwayML, and Creatomate. • Set up social media publishing automations using tools like VistaSocial, Typefully, Postpone, Repurpose.io, and ContentStudio. • Manage and automate tasks involving Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides), Slack, ClickUp, and Motion. • Implement automations for CRM systems (Folk CRM) for lead tracking and email follow-ups. • Use APIs (e.g. Google Trends, NewsAPI, Reddit, CoinGecko) to source content and data. • Document workflows and systems in an organized and repeatable format (Google Docs or Slite). • Troubleshoot and monitor for automation failures and build error-handling logic. • Recommend improvements and maintain a log of active automations. ⸻ Ideal Candidate: • Proven experience with n8n or Make.com (please include examples). • Familiarity with content and social media automation tools. • Strong knowledge of APIs, webhooks, and integrating various SaaS platforms. • Highly organized, reliable, and able to work independently. • Clear communicator with documentation and process-mapping skills. • Bonus if familiar with: Beehiiv, Substack, Captivate.fm, Slack bots, Airtable, or Google App Script. ⸻ Scope & Compensation: • This is a freelance contract, with the potential for ongoing work. • Scope will begin with 1–2 key automations, with more available after successful implementation. • Please include your hourly rate or project quote, portfolio, and availability.
